Tasting note

Wines made from the red Vranec grape are the most popular indigenous wines of Macedonia. Bovin’s Vranec is dry, with a deep red colour. Red fruit and berries dominate the intense nose. Subtle, round and full, the wine is balanced with a firm structure and the typical jam-like varietal flavours.

Food

Served with the whole range of the country’s cuisine, from tomato salads and grilled meat to aged cheese.

Tasting note

Imperator is produced from late-harvested, selected Vranec grapes from Bovin’s own vineyards. Deep dark red-black colour and an intense aroma of wild fruits such as blueberries, blackthorns, blackberries and sour cherries. The taste follows the aroma and is strong and fresh.

Food

Recommended with meat dishes such as pork, lamb and fatty fish.
