Tasting note

The uniqueness of this Syrah, from our own vineyards, comes from a double yield reduction method that partially dehydrates the grapes on the vine. This gives a phenolically ripe wine with an intense ruby red colour, a high extract level and ageing potential. The aroma is complex, fruity and spicy, abundant in red and dark berries, revealing blackcurrants. The taste is elegant and full-bodied, with a long aftertaste. Twenty-five months in new American and French oak barriques give good structure, integrated tannins and aromas of vanilla and blackberry jam.

A match for meat specialities, especially game in piquant sauces.

Tasting note

A wine produced from late-harvested, selected Vranec grapes. Deep dark red-black colour and an intense aroma of wild fruits such as blueberries, blackthorns, blackberries and sour cherries. The taste follows the aroma and is strong and fresh.

Food

Recommended with meat dishes such as pork, lamb and fatty fish.

Tasting note

A dry red blend from carefully selected grapes of Vranec, Merlot and Carmenère. Ruby red colour. The aroma is complex; the dominant fruity, spicy character reveals ripe morello cherries complemented by discreet vanilla undertones. Full-bodied, with a velvety structure, soft tannins and a long aftertaste.
